NOON-1 p.m.- Estate Planning for Small Business Owners with Chris Scolari (1 CEC)

Course Description:
The majority of small businesses in America don’t live beyond the first generation. This is not usually a result of poor management, unsound business strategy, or ineffective product development. Rather, it is often due to failures in estate planning. Most business owners are so busy running their businesses that they lose sight of the importance a proper estate plan has for their family and their company. For these people, personalized estate planning coupled with a well-crafted business succession plan is a necessity to prevent chaos and uncertainty in the event of the business owner’s death or incapacity.
